Our favorite amenity is the front row seat we have to the highest point in Texas! We also offer a flush toilet and shower for our overnight cabin/bunkhouse guests, and porta-potties and a camp shower for our camping guests. There is Wifi, a gazebo, and a fun interpretive trail to hike on. We have a small trading post with limited hours and also offer outfitting services.

The cabins and bunkhouses include linens, blankets, and towels. If you are staying in a cabin and plan to use the grill, you will need to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. We recommend shower shoes for the bathroom as well.

The nearest town is Dell City, about 8 miles west of the Ranch. There is a limited selection of groceries there. There is also a small gas station. We highly recommend you fill up your tank and pick up groceries in El Paso or Carlsbad (based on which way you are coming.)

We have a few “pull-in” sites with a picnic table and grill. The sites are roughly 9 feet wide by 24 feet deep. Probably not big enough for class A motorhomes but they work great for camper-vans. You are welcome to bring a travel trailer, unhook at the site, and park your car at our main parking area.

This is a desert wilderness with everything you think you’d find in the desert. Be aware that there have been rattlesnake and scorpion sightings at the Ranch. Be smart with your food and smellables and be aware of the wildlife and you should be just fine.
